About Roberts & Ross Publishing After many frustrating experiences, some with traditional publishers, most with Print on Demand services, Dr. Patricia Ross, founder of Roberts & Ross Publishing, has dedicated her talents and experience to helping you, the hardworking writer who dreams of seeing your book in print.
Roberts & Ross Publishing is one of the only custom publishers out there who truly focuses on its authors. We want your experience to be pleasurable and profitable . At R&R we will be involved as much or as little as you prefer. By offering services ranging from ghost writing to publishing/distributing to marketing and publicity, R&R is truly a unique and sought after authoring partner.
The only way that you would have more control over your book is if you really published it yourself—but that costs anywhere from $15,000 to $20,000 and that doesn’t include the marketing! Compared to publishing on your own, you do give up control of some aspects of the publishing process, but only in exchange for less hassle and expense. R&R professionals with book-publishing expertise will educate and guide you through the entire process—at an affordable price!
Roberts & Ross also understands the importance of marketing your product. You worked hard to make it a quality product. The public needs to know about your book! R&R not only offers full-service editing and publishing services, but marketing and even business branding services so that you are able to do whatever you desire with your book—whether that is to entertain your close circle of friends or to build a thriving business. Most important, our marketing program offers you the choice to be able to test your marketing abilities and to learn about the publicity process without emptying your bank account or making it your full-time career. And, because you control the rights to your book, you can do what you want with it—repurpose it in whatever fashion you wish (note: there are some restrictions on book covers that Roberts & Ross designs; however, the actual text is yours to do with what you will). Published books offer you notoriety, credibility, status, and even sometimes fame and fortune. Let’s get that book you have been mulling over for years into print!
Traditional named publishing is a $23 billion industry. The world we live in has changed and the way business is done has changed. Publishing and books marketing has changed as well! R&R feels traditional publishing is what most people envision when they dream of publishing a book. Out of the approximately six million manuscripts written each year, only 195,000 titles are published. Out of the 195,000 titles published, only 12 percent were published by the five largest trade publishers.
While it's great to have someone give you an advance, pay your publishing costs and get your book into bookstores, the process can be long, arduous and fraught with rejection. Good books get rejected every day, and, unfortunately, the odds are against you. Roberts & Ross also offers an industry high 25% royalty to our authors! You wrote the book so you should reap the benefits!
Get Started with R&R
As much as we would like to accept every manuscript we receive we can’t. Although we want to make the experience easy painless, just like everything in life, there is a process you must go through for consideration. See Submit Your Manuscript for more information.
Our Distribution Channels

At R&R we want to make sure that doesn’t happen to your hard work. You need your book promoted, marketed and distributed. Roberts & Ross is proud that we have the largest book distributors in the world to help sell your books! Some you may be familiar with include:
